Senior Fellows Network
The now over 400 Senior Fellows span all ages, specializations, and locations. Through grants and their own contributions of time, expertise, and financial resources, Senior Fellows actively sustain our network and advance our mission.
Senior Fellow Workshops

The Melton Foundation brings together Senior Fellows to enhance opportunities for their personal and professional growth - and to support their ongoing journeys as global citizens. Under the theme of Mid-Career Crossroads, the first Senior Fellow workshop took place between 15 - 19 March 2012 in Casablanca (Morocco). Explore the workshops and trainings through the eyes of the participants through the workshop blog, and get a glimpse of the experience in this video.
In 2013, a team of Melton Fellows will take their skills and passion to Haiti. In collaboration with our partner América Solidaria, they will exercise heart, hand, and mind to understand and assist in the immediate needs of local communities.
Mentors and Project Leaders
Senior Fellows are trained and supported to lead global citizenship project teams and learning activities involving Junior Fellows, other Senior Fellows, and collaborators. Senior Fellows also initiate and carry out projects and events – from organizing and curating TEDx events to implementing global education outreach in rural schools and fundraising events.
Network Leadership
Senior Fellows are activity involved in the leadership of the Foundation, including by sitting on its Board of Directors and serving in high-profile volunteer roles and staff positions. Increasingly many Senior Fellows also contribute financial resources to the Foundation’s programs.
