Fellowship
A Lifelong Commitment to Global Citizenship
The Foundation sponsors lifelong experiential learning in global citizenship among Melton Fellows across all fields, career stages, and global regions. This long-term commitment allows Fellows to develop into advocates who practice and advance global citizenship in their expanding spheres of influence.
Since the selection of the first Melton Fellows in 1991, the global Fellows network has grown to over 450 members worldwide. Fellows pass through two stages:
|
The Junior Fellowship |
encompasses a two-year undergraduate program. A third “Honors Year” is awarded to the most outstanding performers among this cohort. |
|
The Senior Fellowship |
provides many avenues of participation and impact for Fellows throughout the rest of their lives – as project leaders, mentors, interns, speakers, career support, and roles in the strategic development and governance of the Foundation. |
